Following the success of the Creative Conversations workshop at the 2021 Shrewsbury LGBT+ History Festival, we are delighted to be able to offer another opportunity for LGBT+ people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin to play a part in something creative.

Have a look at the video here, which came from the last project. This time will be a similar process but a different product!

This time we plan to use old film footage to prompt discussion between generations
We’ll ask you some questions and offer opportunities for you to engage in some creative work yourself, then our artists will whizz up a clever piece of video and/or artwork to represent our discussions.

You do not have to be identifiable in any way.
You will also be able to comment on and amend the end product, which will be hosted on the SAND and Media Active websites and shown at events.

We are looking for 12 individuals interested in taking part, we will put you together so that you will be paired with someone from a different generation.
You will be invited to take part in 3 workshops in June/July.
Workshops will be online or face to face – depending what works best.

The only limits are that you must identify as LGBT+ and you must be over 18 years old.
