The first Small Steps Big Difference Conference took place at Shrewsbury Town Football Ground in 2023 and we hope that like-minded events will continue into the future.

The rationale for these events is to bring EMBRACE Covenantees together, to share and learn from their work to be more inclusive of older and old LGBT+ people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. It is about inspiring each other and encouraging others who are considering signing up to the Covenant.

This page features video footage from that very first Small Steps Big Difference conference, including presentations and a taster of the highlights from the day. These short films continue to give practical ideas for more inclusive practice.
